Can I repair your device?
What I repair
I do work on solid state 2 channel home audio amplifiers, receivers, integrated amps, pre amps, and turntables.
I do NOT work on Pro audio, home theater (AVR: anything that handles any video signal or has any surround sound is not something I work on), Subwoofers, car audio, Reel to reel machines, cassette decks, walkmans, quadraphonic 4 channel equipment, or any other non 2 channel home audio device. If you ask about me repairing something on this list, I likely won't reply.Â
In addition I do NOT work on the following brands: Counterpoint
Current Queue
I offer limited spots in a queue to repair customer devices. Currently, my queue is closed as it is fully booked until August of 2027. It will NOT open again until I am only six months out. I want to focus more on making videos and teaching repairs as time goes on.Â
If that is too long, head to my Find a Repair Shop page to see other repair centers.Â
Pricing
I charge $150/hr + parts, shipping, and tax and have a $2000 + shipping and tax minimum per device for shipped in services.Â
Most full restorations take 20-30 hours with simpler gear taking 15-20 and more complex equipment taking up to 45 hours depending on if you want cosmetic restoration as well as electrical. This means that the average rebuild will cost $3000-4500 + parts, shipping, and tax.Â
Waitlist
I currently have a small waitlist of people who I will contact when I am ready to add services to my queue. It is only for people who have read this whole page and still want a full restoration on their device. You can reply to the automated message that likely brought you here and ask for more details.
